Privacy policy
Erin Walker Design LLC ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and home address.
- Project information, such as notes about your home, photos and plans you share, selections, agreements and invoices.
- Client portal account details: your login email and a securely hashed password. We cannot see your password.
- Payment records: the amount, date and method of each payment. Card and bank details entered online are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored by us.
How we use it
Only to provide and bill for our design services: to communicate with you, prepare your design, send invoices and receipts, keep accurate business and tax records, and keep your account secure. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Stripe, to process online payments
- Our hosting, database, file storage and email delivery providers, which store and send information on our behalf
- Contractors, vendors or other professionals on your project, when you ask us to coordinate with them
We may also disclose information when required by law.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The client portal uses essential cookies to keep you signed in securely.
How long we keep it
We keep project and contact information for as long as you're a client and for a reasonable period afterward. Invoices, payments and signed agreements are kept as long as needed for tax and legal purposes.
Security
The client portal uses encrypted connections, and administrator accounts require two-factor sign-in. Each client can see only their own projects.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@erinwalkerdesign.com. We'll honor deletion requests except for records we're required to keep.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
